them.
Note: Ifyoupreviouslyinstalled/updated

uninstallthedriversanddevices,thenreinstall
them.

includedintheBlueScale2.7.1.7firmware
packagedoesnotsupporthalf‐heightIBMLTO‐4
tapedrives.
DownloadandinstallthemostcurrentLTO‐4
device
drivers.Referto“UpdatingTapeDrive
DeviceDrivers”sectionoftheSpectranTier700
BackupandArchiveApplianceUserGuidefor
instructions.
WhensendingASLfiles generatedby
AutoSupport,thesendlogoperation failsifthe
E-mail FromfieldintheAutoSupportMail
Recipientsconfigurationcontainsan“@”symbol.
Whenconfiguringmailrecipients
in
AutoSupport,leavetheE-mail Fromfieldempty
orsimplyincludethe domain(forexample,
spectralogic.com).
IftheWindowspasswordisleftblank,you
cannotloginintoBlueScalefromeitheradirect
connectiontotheWindowsoperatingsystemor
throughtheBlueScalewebinterface.
MakesurethatyousettheWindowspassword.
